Toad 'n Turtle first opened it's doors in Calgary (Barlow) in 2001. Red Deer opened in 2005 and Airdrie in 2012. Calgary (Shepard at 130th) is the newest addition as of July 2014!
We like to think of ourselves as an English pub with attitude. We also, however, take great pride in our culinary skills. We don’t just serve up your typical pub food. We have a roof top meat smoker where we smoke all our own meats. Don’t worry, we’re not all about the smoked meats, even though we do love it, our menu has a large variety for almost any palate. From salads to pizza’s to wild meats and many things in between, the Toad’s menu will keep you coming back for more. Our Maui ribs and maple glazed ribs are a must try!
We are proud of our 24 tap draught line up. Lagers, Ales, IPA’s, Ambers, Pilsners, White beers and Dark, you can find them all here at the Toad ‘n’ Turtle on tap. If draught isn’t your thing, we also have over 25 bottled beers and coolers to choose from. If Scotch is your interest check out our 50 different single malt and blended scotches. Islay’s, Island’s, Highland’s, Lowland’s and Speyside’s we have varieties from each region. If it’s a bargain you’re looking for, the Toad has drink specials every day of the week.
