TABS (The Association of Boarding Schools)

The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) is the premier resource for boarding school education and educators; and the public voice for independent boarding schools, their historical contribution to our world, and the current and compelling benefits of living and learning in an academic community. The Association leads a domestic and international effort to promote awareness and understanding of boarding schools and to expand the applicant pool for member institutions. As a not-for-profit membership association, we serve roughly 225 boarding schools across the United States, Canada, and abroad, as the one-stop, indispensable resource for boarding school staff seeking training, research, guidance, and support on all issues pertaining to the residential school experience. We host an annual conference, site-based and online workshops; produce industry research; and a robust website for educators - and families - at BoardingSchools.com.
