Sy Kessler Sales, Inc. operated as the North American Headquarters for Renata Batteries of Itingen, Switzerland, responsible for all of Renata’s OEM electronics sales in North America. From 1980 through 2017, Kessler also directed all sales and marketing activities for the US, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. While Kessler continues to support many ongoing Renata OEM projects, KESSLER BATTERIES now acts independently with regard to the consumer market, and any new opportunities arising from the OEM electronics industry. Within consumer channels, Kessler has sold hundreds of millions of silver-oxide, lithium, alkaline and zinc-air batteries to customers in multiple channels, including all aspects of the watch industry, hearing healthcare, consumer electronics, pawn, grocery, drug store channels and more. Kessler has sold hundreds of millions of silver-oxide, lithium, lithium polymer and alkaline batteries and battery holders to many of the most prominent names in the electronics industry. These include OEM manufacturers, contract manufacturers, component distributors, and product design centers. Kessler offers engineering assistance, while working as a liaison with a variety of major battery producers. The late Sylvia and Sy Kessler established the company in 1968, and the tradition of servicing its customers has proudly continued for 50 years and three generations.
