Support for Healthcare Professionals: The Company supports nurses and other healthcare professionals through its website, Scrubsmag.com, the leading lifestyle media brand for nurses. Community Outreach and Philanthropy: Careismatic Brands also engages in numerous community outreach and philanthropic activities, including the DAISY Foundation, which funds research by nurses and helps thousands of healthcare organizations in the U.S. and around the world to recognize the incredible work and sacrifice of nurses each year, through the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. Alarmed at the number of nurses leaving the profession within their first few years in practice, the Company produced a film that would encourage, inspire and instruct nurses and nursing students. The resulting film, A Nurse I Am, was produced in two versions and is shown in 260 nursing schools. Since 2007, Careismatic Brands has awarded $156,000 to students in nursing school through the A Nurse I Am Scholarship.
