About Southern Research

Southern Research is a nonprofit, translational scientific research organization with an 80-year legacy of moving science through drug discovery, drug development and environmental health.

This legacy includes helping shape modern cancer treatment practices by developing seven FDA-approved cancer drugs and co-creating a COVID-19 vaccine currently in clinical trials. These innovations are made possible because of our greatest assets, our people that move science every day at every level of Southern Research.
