Our Mission:To provide the highest quality baseball and softball officials to Northeast Florida schools. Our Association has officials from southern Georgia, Gainesville, Daytona, and of course the Jacksonville metro area. Love Baseball and/or Softball? Look Good in Blue? Think You Can Do A BETTER Job? Then become an umpire for River City Umpires Association! Do you love baseball?? Do you want to stay in the game?? Are you motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, driven to succeed, and want to be the best?? Do you have what it takes to not only “make the call” – but “get it right”??? If you are interested in starting your baseball umpiring career or you have been umpiring youth league games and want to take your umpiring to the next level, now is the time to join River City Umpires Association. The River City Umpires Association is the local high school umpires association affiliated with the Florida High School Athletic Association. Our Association assigns and covers freshman, junior varsity, and varsity baseball games in the Northeast Florida area. We are currently in the process of recruiting new umpires and are looking for individuals who have the desire and enthusiasm to umpire high school baseball and the work ethic to learn and be the best possible umpire. Our association will assist you in registering with the FHSAA and we provide training sessions in rules and mechanics to help you get a good start in your umpiring career.
