Precision Ceramics is a company dedicated to the engineering of technical ceramics. We specialise in the design, manufacture and machining of bespoke and advanced technical ceramic components for an ever-widening array of worldwide applications.
The markets we serve are wide and diverse; from aerospace and automotive through to electronics, offshore, oil & gas and nuclear power generation. All have one factor in common; the quality and reliability of the technical ceramic products we’ve developed for them. And based on this knowledge – over 25 years of it in fact – our reputation as a solution provider is also well charted and highly respected.
In both new applications and in areas where technical ceramics are already being used, Precision Ceramics has the necessary expertise and in-depth knowledge to quickly find the best way forward for any potential application from prototypes through to full-scale production of components – and in a comprehensive range of specialist materials including Alumina, Aluminium Nitride, Boron Carbide, Boron Nitride, Macor Machinable Glass Ceramic, Shapal Machinable Aluminium Nitride, Silicon Carbide, Silicon Nitride and Zirconia.
A new and comprehensive range of specialist ceramics is also now being manufactured in-house at the company’s headquarters in Birmingham, UK.
Precision Ceramics has extensive in-house machining facilities – including 4th & 5th axis machining centres, drilling, grinding, milling, polishing, sawing, tapping, threading and turning – to enable us to manufacture technical ceramic components to the highest specifications. A fully controlled inspection facility with co-ordinated measurement system accurate to 0.02mm is also in operation to ensure that our rigorous quality standards are maintained at all times.
The company operates to the very highest quality standards and holds ISO 9001:2015 approval.
