National Association of Commercial Real Estate Due Diligence Professionals

The National Association of Commercial Real Estate Due Diligence Professionals is an organization that brings together the end users and professional providers of engineering, environmental, construction, seismic and architectural due diligence services as defined by our governing agency, ASTM International. The main services provided and governed are property condition assessments, phase one environmental reports seismic probable maximum loss and construction disbursement reports. We strive to maintain only those members who can be identified as having a need for these services, or the professional credentials and associations necessary to provide them. NCARDDP was organized over a year ago around the basic goal of enhancing the quality of due diligence throughout the industry by encouraging discussions and feedback between both users and providers and providing the medium to do this. Over 1,300 members have utilized NCARDDP to both increase their due diligence business and decrease their liabilities for all aspects of the myriad of differing transactions and challenges the industry provides on a daily basis. Our goal is to facilitate QUALITY DUE DILIGENCE in commercial real estate investment banking by providing our membership with the necessary resources, contacts and services to excel at their particular level and position in the industry because, as the ASTM Standards state: “There are varying levels of assessments and due diligence that can be exercised that are both more and less comprehensive than this guide, and that may be appropriate to meet the objectives of the user. Users should consider their requirements, the purpose that the assessment is to serve, and their risk tolerance level before selecting the consultant and the level of due diligence to be exercised by the consultant.”
