About NAC | National Armaments Consortium

Working in close collaboration with Department of Defence Ordnance Technology Consortium (DOTC), the National Armaments Consortium (NAC) is a consortium of over 850 traditional and nontraditional defense contractors, and academic institutions, operating under the provisions of a National Armaments Consortium Member Agreement that has been executed by the participating member organizations.

After 16 years the consortium has become the standard for the DoD in providing collaborative armaments development ensuring a rapid, effective method for developing armament systems for the US warfighter.

The NAC is governed by a nine-member Executive Committee consisting of a proportional number of representatives from small business, large business, and academic institutions.

The consortium has grown to include customers from all segments of the DoD armaments technology base.
