Marafiq is proud to be Saudi Arabia’s first private integrated power and water utility company, and has its eye set on the future demands of a growing economy and industry. Marafiq is the utility lifeline to the industrial cities of Jubail and Yanbu. With a growing workforce of more than 2,500 people, Marafiq maintains safety as its first priority, ensuring that its staffs’ wellbeing is nurtured and developed. Furthermore, Marafiq leverages its vision through its employees, to be the preferred supplier of water and power utility services in the major industrial cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Marafiq pursues this vision with four key focus areas: meeting customer needs, support the economic development plans for Jubail and Yanbu, provide services at competitive and sustainable prices, and to be environmentally sensitive. Marafiq provides a complete package of services in Jubail and Yanbu Industrial cities. In Yanbu, all the utility services are centralized in a single, integrated complex that is regarded as one of the largest of its kind in the world. Services comprise of power generation, transmission and distribution, potable water, seawater cooling systems, and sanitary and industrial wastewater treatment. In Jubail, the focus is on water utilities as power services are supplied by Saudi Electricity Company. Jubail operations include seawater cooling systems, potable and process water production and supply, and sanitary and industrial wastewater treatment. Marafiq is honored to be a part of Saudi Arabia’s developing economy and industrial growth strategy. In fact, since 2003 Marafiq has tripled in size and has established five affiliated companies operating in various fields of services.
