At the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), our mission is to be a leader in the world of sports, to promote economic empowerment for all members, and to serve as role models on and off the course. The Ladies Professional Golf Association is one of the longest-running women’s professional sports associations in the world, founded in 1950 by 13 pioneers. In fact, the LPGA today is truly “Golf’s Global Tour,” with players from more than 32 countries playing in tournaments across 13 countries. With a Vision to inspire, empower, educate and entertain by showcasing the very best of women’s golf, LPGA Tour Professionals compete across the globe, while dedicated LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals (T&CP) directly impact the game through teaching, coaching and management. The Symetra Tour consistently produces a pipeline of talent ready for the world stage. LPGA has generated more than $300M for charities, providing economic support for a variety of causes aimed at solving issues and providing hope.
