About KSB Pumps & Valves Pty Ltd

KSB has been represented in South Africa since the early 1900’s through agents. In 1959 KSB Pumps (SA) was established with the objective to be closer to the customer, thereby increasing value to the customer by having a strong local sales, operations and service set up available. In January 2007, KSB Pumps South Africa changed its shareholding and took on a black economic-empowerment company as a partner, namely Compo Physic Trade (Pty) Ltd, which has a share of 15% plus 1.

During the last 5 years the company has shown significant growth in order intake and sales.

KSB South Africa has a modern manufacturing and sales facility in Johannesburg and 8 additional sales branches in Cape Town, Durban, Nelspruit, Port Elizabeth, Secunda, Vereeniging, Richards bay and Rustenburg and several regional P & A’s (for Sub Saharan Africa) located in KSB’s headquarter in Johannesburg. A nationwide dealership network with 120 dealers and accredited service centres compliments the activities of the main and regional offices.

Since 2010 KSB’s resident office in Accra, Ghana for West Africa is limited to the Sub Saharan Africa headquarter in South Africa. A second resident office opened in 2011 in Nairobi, Kenya to cover East /Central Africa.

We have established a dedicated service division in order to offer our customers a comprehensive aftersales service, including installation and commissioning, inspection, repair and maintenance, either in our own main Service workshop in Johannesburg or in our 6 Regional Service Centres, or by our competent Field Service Organisation.
