Established in 1994, Heartland is a Long-Term Care Pharmacy company owned equally by HCR-ManorCare (HCR) and CVS Health. Consisting of 5 pharmacies; we provide pharmaceutical services to 27,000 beds in ten states, dispensing over 400,000 prescriptions per month. Heartland Healthcare’s joint ownership between a long-term care provider and a pharmaceutical provider, give Heartland the benefit of understanding the specific and evolving needs within the long-term care industry. Because we run independently from our partners, we have the feel of a 'Mom and Pop' pharmacy with the innovation, technology and resources of a large corporation.
