We help to create a better future for seriously ill children. Great Ormond Street Hospital has always depended on charitable support to provide a world-class service to children with rare and complex conditions. So we raise money to help fund:
• the rebuilding and refurbishment of the hospital’s wards and medical facilities. These are designed around children and young people, and enable the hospital to treat more patients in the best possible surroundings.
• pioneering research to find treatments for the most complex childhood illnesses. Research ranges from revolutionary gene therapy to tailor-made organs for transplant.
• state-of-the-art medical equipment for treating the toughest and rarest conditions.
• parent accommodation and other support services. These can ease the burden on families, raise spirits, and support young patients through their treatment.
