Since our humble beginnings in 1972, as a speciality denim store in the heart of Sydney, General Pants Co. has become a major style authority and one of fashion’s biggest success stories. In 1995 the business was bought by Phil Staub and Jackie Vidor, whose combined experience in youth marketing has led General Pants Co. to live in 52 stores across Australia and the U.S., delivering a complete fashion offering; proudly stocking the best in denim within a choice selection of exclusive styles and brands, covering streetwear to high-end, emerging to well-known. Our General Pants Co. team of culturally connected buyers and developers comb the world looking for the finest edit of global trends, brands and products for young-blooded individuals. Capturing the zeitgeist every season, with up-to-the-minute affordable style, sourced both locally and globally. We collaborate with high profile Australian identities and designers, working tirelessly to infuse and evolve our products and store environments with basic and diverse influences from fashion, music, art, skate and various urban subcultures.
