Gemini Tec provide a sub-contract manufacturing service for complex surface mount PCB products. We work closely to support our customers with rapid delivery prototypes through to medium volume batch and series production orders. Gemini build in excess of 100,000 SMT assemblies per year, for a diverse range of market leading companies across the UK & Europe. What makes Gemini Tec different? Gemini Tec continually invest in world class capability. We are the only UK CEM operating entirely with solder jet printing and vapour phase reflow technology. Investment in leading technology allows us to manufacture a range of high mix and high density PCBA products and provide customers with unrivalled quality beyond traditional assembly techniques. Our capability: Five Mycronic surface mount placement machines are configured for super-fast product changeovers and automated in-line operation. Our SMT lines are fully supported by Mycronic’s world class solder jet printing process, our MY500, MY600 and MY700 printing platforms deliver the optimum volumes of solder paste for every unit we produce. Our reflow capability is supplied by vapour phase pioneers Asscon GmbH and is fully configured for vacuum processing to deliver void free SMT production. We have both fully in-line and batch reflow capability. Production tools include 5 axis AOI inspection across three AOI platforms, 3D X-Ray, selectively sprayed conformal coating and cleaning to name a few. Our IPC trained technicians deliver a fully comprehensive manufacturing service including functional testing, cable assemblies through to final product assembly and validation. We enjoy over 40 years’ experience within the electronic manufacturing sector and employ over 55 highly skilled and dedicated employees to deliver our service.
