The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) promotes the United Kingdom's interests overseas, supporting British citizens and businesses around the globe. We are responsible for 1) safeguarding the UK’s national security by countering terrorism and weapons proliferation, and working to reduce conflict; 2) building the UK’s prosperity by increasing exports and investment, opening markets, ensuring access to resources, and promoting sustainable global growth; 3) supporting British nationals around the world through modern and efficient consular services. Being part of a world-wide network representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas, FCO Europe & EECAD consist of a skilled team of over 2,620 people in more than 80 diplomatic offices across 50 countries in Europe and Central Asia regions: Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, The Netherlands, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
