FamilyCord was founded in 1997 as a subsidiary of California Cryobank. FamilyCord utilizes cryogenic technology to store cord blood stem cells to safeguard the future health of its clients.

Our strengths include a deep understanding of laboratory processing and cryogenic storage. We were the first private cord blood bank in California and are FDA registered, AABB accredited, and CLIA certified.

Today we are a recognized leader in cord blood stem cell collection, processing and storage. In 2009, FamilyCord expanded operations in New York through the acquisition of Park Avenue Fertility and also acquired Vista Cord in the Southeastern United States.

We also provide institutional stem cell storage and processing services for Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell (HPC) stem cells. Personal accounts are available for both umbilical cord stem cells and peripheral blood stem cells at family friendly pricing.
