Faith Alliance of Metro Atlanta

The Faith Alliance of Atlanta is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is the promotion of understanding, respect, prayer, interaction and unity among the diverse faiths in the greater Atlanta region, and the advancement of the influence of voices of the faith communities for social justice. We are not a uniform group: rather our board and membership we are pluralistic in practice and diverse with regard to age, race, sexuality, faith, culture, race and tradition. We believe that our organization, by intentionally manifesting and representing this diversity, can contribute positively to the Metro Atlanta community through: - Communal prayer with those of other faith - Education on religion and matters of social justice - Dialogue and conversation, including during projects held in conjunction with our partners the Atlanta Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity - Cooperation and networking with religious and social justice organizations - Advocacy and action on matters of local and national importance
