Etudes Sans Frontières – Studieren Ohne Grenzen Deutschland e.V.

Support education – enable self-help Studieren ohne Grenzen enables young people from conflict regions to study and supports their self-actualization, thus contributing to the reconstruction of their community and country. The concept of solidarity is central in our work. We are currently active in higher education projects in Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Chechnya and Sri Lanka. Furthermore, we recognize the need to complement the existing educational structures by providing university libraries with books, equipping computers centers and organizing workshops that focus on themes such as conflict mediation, social justice and empowerment. We are convinced that education is one important key to a peaceful future. In this light, all our scholarship-holders are required to organize a social project in their region, and multiply their know-how in the community.
