Digital Growth Programme

Digital technologies are accelerating at a faster rate than ever. But still businesses fail to react. This is most likely because, from the outside at least, the digital world seems to be a confusing and daunting place. However help is now on hand. The Digital Growth Programme (formerly known as eBusiness Club) managed by East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) is a programme part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, running from 2016 – 2019. Its aim is to support businesses to embrace the digital world through: • Strategic action-planning workshops • Awareness-raising seminars • Grant funding (subject to conditions) • Digital business advice • Conferences It will deliver free workshops across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Leicester and Leicestershire to support local SME's with digital marketing and technology. Topics include, but are not limited to, Website Planning and Development; Online Marketing; Social Media; ecommerce; Email Marketing, CRM and Big Data; Paid Digital Advertising, Video Production and Marketing; Cloud Computing and Cyber Resilience; International ecommerce and Marketing; Mobile Marketing and Productivity. On-going support will be available to SMEs in various locations across the region through the programme, including advice from dedicated Digital Business Advisers, who will assess the needs and requirements of businesses on a bespoke basis in order to identify digital workforce development needs. It will also provide grant-funding opportunities of up to 40% - available between £2,000 and £16,000 - for businesses that require assistance with technology and/or digital projects.
