Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation is the administrative and fiscal agency responsible for providing workforce programs and services to the citizens and businesses of Detroit. Established in 2012, Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation is a 501(c)(3) public charity tasked with revitalizing Detroit by cultivating local workforce talent to align with the needs of the business community through partnerships with key workforce agencies, faith-based and community-based organizations, education and training institutions, philanthropic, economic development and government entities. Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation is overseen by the Detroit Workforce Development Board, which is appointed by the Mayor of Detroit.
