From a leather studio on Haight Street, founded in 1967, Circa grew into a 100,000 square foot modern facility in the The Bayview. Our domestic factory was home to the most current and innovative machinery, quickly producing core styles and emerging trends. Personalized design and development suited the unique merchandising needs of our clients. We balanced the capabilities of our U.S. manufacturing and distribution facilities with the expertise of our overseas partner factories to provide incomparable service. Acquisition by a private equity firm in 2016 drove this vibrant business into bankruptcy. Long standing business partners were left holding the bill after a few years of the new owners paying themselves and their reckless 'management team' to drive the enterprise out of existence.
