In 1971, Catherwood Towing Ltd. started providing tug and barge services for general freight, log boom towing, booming, marine construction equipment towing and tending, custom tug and towing services, and boom storage. Catherwood Towing has proudly delivered reliable services based on safety, quality, and commitment for more than 40 years since. We are a WorkSafe BC COR and BC Forest Safety Council SAFE Certified company, is strategically structured to meet your marine towing needs.
With a fleet of 14 tugs, 3 barges, and 80 exceptionally adaptive professional employees, we have the expertise and equipment to service our customers’ varied needs. Our service areas begin at Harrison Lake, extend the length of the Fraser and North Arm of the Fraser River, and continue throughout all coastal areas of British Columbia.
