Bucknell University combines the personal experience of a liberal arts college with first-class research facilities, global study opportunities and 115 fields of study. Our 3,600 students come from across the U.S. and 60 countries. As students advance through Bucknell, the Career Development Center helps them integrate their individual career goals with their varied academic and life experiences to set, and reach, their own unique professional development goals. Additionally, workshops and mock interviews, advising sessions with career counselors, and field trips help prepare students for the future. Nine months after graduation 97% of the Class of 2017 reported a postgraduate outcome. Based on our postgraduate survey and other information-gathering methods, 74% of the graduates were employed, 14% enrolled in graduate or professional school, 3% were both employed and enrolled in graduate school, and 2% were volunteering or engaged in other activity. A total of 24 out of 858 were still seeking employment and 36 were preparing for graduate school. The employers with the most accepted offers include: Accenture, Amazon, Amazon Robotics, Axtria, Clark Construction, Crossix Solutions, Deloitte, ESPN, Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Nielsen, Peace Corps, Pratt & Whitney, PwC, RSM, SEI, Success Academy Charter Schools, Teach for America, UBS Wealth Management, United States Army, Vanguard, and Yelp. After graduation, students join nearly 50,000 Bucknell alumni worldwide in a vibrant, tight-knit community and have access to Alumni Career Services, free and for a lifetime. They’re welcomed back to campus as a member of the Bucknell family, and invited to join one of 31 alumni chapters and regional groups across the globe.
