Every year, Bow Valley College helps more than 15,000 learners reach their goals at its downtown Calgary campus, at more than 20 locations throughout southern Alberta, and online through eCampus Alberta. BVC’s new North and South Campus buildings are located in the heart of downtown Calgary and the centre of the East Village neighbourhood, one of the country’s most exciting urban developments. The new buildings address the needs and expectations of today’s multi-generational BVC student, providing state-of-the-art classrooms and study spaces, the Iniikokaan Aboriginal Centre, RGO Library and Learning Commons, a fourth-floor patio and roof-top gardens, multi-faith room, student services, and a convenient location right on the CTrain line. BVC trains work-ready graduates for one-year certificates and two-year diplomas in the following career programs: Business Administration, Dental Business Assistant, Events Management, Human Resource Management, Hospital Unit Clerk, Interior Decorating, Legal Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Administrative Professional, Veterinary Office Assistant, Justice Studies, Early Learning and Child Care, Education Assistant, Health Care Aide, Disability Studies, Practical Nurse, Addictions Studies: Aboriginal Focus, Pharmacy Technician, Nutrition Manager, and Recreation Therapy Aide, Software Development, Health and Human Services Management, Kitchen and Bath Design, FASD Education. Bow Valley College also offers programs in English Language Learning, high school upgrading, and a wide range of continuing education options.
