BestCo* is a leading developer and manufacturer of confectionery-based Consumer Healthcare products, including OTC Drugs and Dietary Supplements. We specialize in Contract Manufacturing and Private Label product solutions for Marketers and Retailers of Consumer Healthcare products, many of whom are household names. BestCo develops and manufactures: • Lozenges for the cough/cold category • Antacids in chewy dosage forms • Vitamins and Mineral Supplements in both lozenge and chewy dosage forms • Many other APIs and functional ingredients in confectionery or liquid dosage form Our roots date back to 1931 where we grew to become the largest candy company in South Africa. Beacon Sweets was established as a candy manufacturer in New Jersey in 1976 and after continued growth, expansion led us to relocate to our current site in Mooresville, North Carolina in 1988. *From 2001 until 2013, BestCo was known as BestSweet, Inc. In 2013 the company was renamed BestCo to better reflect our shift in focus to a leading developer and manufacturer of confectionery-based OTC Drug products and Dietary Supplements.
