The Atlanta Falcons joined the National Football League in 1966, becoming the fifteenth NFL franchise. In 2002, Home Depot co-founder Arthur M. Blank purchased the team and set out to create an organization determined to put a winning team on the field, while also creating a fan-first mindset and an inclusive and philanthropic culture.
As with all of Blank’s businesses, the Falcons’ organization is built upon six core values: Put People First, Listen and Respond, Include Everyone, Innovate Continuously, Lead by Example, and Give Back to Others. The players, coaches and associates live these values and apply them to create meaningful experiences and to bring the team, fans and the city of ATL closer together.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium, an award-winning, world-class sports and entertainment venue in the heart of Atlanta, is the home to the Falcons. Day-to-day football operations is headquartered at the training facility, IBM Performance Field in Flowery Branch, Georgia.
The Falcons are part of Blank’s larger family of businesses, including The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, PGA Tour Superstore, Mountain Sky Guest Ranch, West Creek Ranch and Paradise Valley Ranch.
