AMC - Academic Medical Center

The Academic Medical Center, or AMC in short, operates as one of the eight university medical center in the Netherlands. It offers health care, education and research. The company’s health care services include referral care, clinical care and general specialist care in the areas of cardiovascular disease, clinical genetics, pediatrics, microsurgery, dermatology, human reproduction, oncology, endocrinology, virology, immunology, liver disease, ophthalmology, neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry and public health. The AMC also offers physician training, postgraduate education, scientific research, scientific researcher training, contribution to the training of medical specialists, international Master of Science Studies, Clinical Epidemiology, Molecular Medicine and Medical Informatics.
