About Altyntau Resources JSC
JSC “Altyntau Resources” is a leading integrated gold producer in the CIS. The company was established in 2011 and it is a successor of JSC “Vasilkovsky MCC”. The main mining and processing assets of the company are located in the Republic of Kazakhstan. About 4500 people are involved in mining and production. The company history counts more than forty years. JSC “Altyntau Resources” (JSC “Vasilkovsky MCC” prior to 2011) was established on the base of Vasilkovsky gold ore deposit which was discovered in 1963. The deposit was discovered in the process of a specialized prospecting of the area of radioactive raw materials deposits at Vasilkovsky ore field (1960-61) conducted by the Ministry of Geology of the USSR.
In 2011 the biggest group of companies focused on mining and gold processing JSC “Altyntau Resources” was established.
