AKW Global Logistics was established in 1981 as a traditional haulier. We're extremely proud of our evolution, now boasting expertise in Freight, UK & International distribution, Bulk & Racked HMRC/BRC Accredited Warehousing & Contract Packing.

Our strength as a business was compounded further in 2015 when two pioneers of the industry Tony Worthington & Paul Welsh controversially collaborated, attributing to the success we celebrate today.

Operating across 3 depots in Trafford Park, as well as our Birmingham hub, we have a combined Group turnover of approximately £20 million, employing around 300 staff in our bustling 24/7 operation.

Investing in our people is paramount, with succession programmes for next generation talent to ensure future sustainability. We promote equality & diversity, leading a Solidarity Sourcing initiative & standing out as one of few transport companies to have a strong female Managing Director guiding us.

Our services to world renowned FMCG companies are in constant demand; being a founder of Partnerlink & a member of Palletforce, we enjoy robust working partnerships, & access to both national & international supply chain networks, which enables us to handle projects of any size.

In 2018, AKW joined Kinaxia Logistics’ group of companies. This has strengthened our existing service offerings and given our customers access to a larger network. We remain a local, family-run business with a global reach.
