ActionPoint was founded in 2005 by David Jeffreys and John Savage and employs 100 people across Ireland, the UK and the US. It provides custom software development and IT services to clients in many verticals including Manufacturing, Government, Financial Services and now Motor Sports. Our mission is “To help companies achieve their greatest potential using the power of technology.” In 2019, ActionPoint expanded further into the UK with the acquisition of a cloud services firm in Lisburn.Our Software Team develop Bespoke Software Solutions for every type of business need. They serve clients in the US and Ireland, and their applications include the development of a teleprompting system for various Awards shows in the US, as well as a mobile application to control your oven remotely. ActionPoint is happy to work on a project basis or become the technology partner for companies who simply do not have the internal resources to continually develop and maintain their technology infrastructure – a requirement for all companies who wish to stay ahead. ActionPoint’s key clients include Analog Devices, Johnson and Johnson, VoxPro, Mazars Ireland, Chill Insurance, Kirby Group and Munster Rugby. The company is best known for its work on the online passport renewals systems for the Department of Foreign Affairs. The project won a World Class Civil Service award in 2017 and in 2019 won two UX Awards at the CX Impact Awards for “Impact in Digital” and “Plain English in the Digital World”.
