Action - Leeds Student Volunteering Society

ACTION is the University of Leed's largest volunteering society. We run 11 different projects working with childern and the elderly within the local community. Last year, Action ran multiple residential trips and day trips for young people, including for those who are from deprived areas, are young carers or young people who have learning difficulties. Highlights include trips to the zoo, canoeing, and even tree top trekking. The year also saw 40 visits to elderly care homes and over 80 local elderly people attended our annual Older People's Tea Party.
