Yanset-You Are Now SET was established in Mountain View, CA in the spring of 2015. It was created after the realization that many young adults after graduation were still struggling to find fulfilling careers. Through having greatly benefited from her own mentorship experiences, Jenny Xu understood the importance of mentoring and career counseling. Through taking our data-driven designed career assessment, those needing career guidance can identify their strengths, interest, and discover a career best suited for their values and personality. Yanset’s free online discussion forum, JobBuzz™, was developed primarily for students to get their career-related questions answered quickly and easily. Moreover, MentorshipPlans™ are revenue-generating services intended to prepare and provide job seekers skills to help secure jobs. They are one-on-one sessions tailored to each individual’s career needs. Through mentoring, individuals can locate and thrive in their careers; resulting in increased confidence, passion, productivity, and a stronger commitment to their professional lives. Since January, Yanset’s team has been hard at work building JobBuzz™ for users to ask their career-related questions and receive quick, reliable answers from a community of experts. Currently we are working on creating a webpage for MentorPlans™, our first revenue-generating product and we will soon release our data-driven career assessment at the end September 2015. Yanset hopes to eventually create an online global platform for connecting professionals with individuals seeking career guidance, growth, and placement. Through our services, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of career development.
