About YAKIMA VALLEY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

We are a community foundation serving Central Washington and the Yakima Valley by bringing together resources, people, and ideas. We provide technical assistance, fiscal sponsorship, and grants to other non-profits. We work closely with communities on innovations and solutions to serve our diverse, rural area. We also manage a $75MM investment portfolio, including our Founders Fund, several scholarship funds, Donar Advised Funds, and agency and endowment funds - all for charitable benefit.
We are the home to Investing in Children Coalition of Central WA, the Yakima Valley's Act Six and Ready-to-Rise programs, and the Broadband Action Team. YVCF is one of 5 community foundations nationally selected to participate in a pilot project to save rural journalism to help protect democracy, community news, and stories and to encourage community engagement and voting.
