About Visit South Bend Mishawaka

Visit South Bend Mishawaka (VSBM) is the lead destination marketing organization for St. Joseph County, Ind., one of the most populous counties in Indiana. Our office is located in downtown South Bend, the fourth-most populous city in the state, just south of the iconic University of Notre Dame.

Our office also promotes tourism in Mishawaka, New Carlisle, Granger, North Liberty, Lakeville, Osceola, Roseland and Walkerton.

St. Joseph County is home to nearly 5,000 hotel rooms and more than 300,000 square feet of meeting space, plus dozens of unique attractions. Studebaker National Museum, Potato Creek State Park, The History Museum and Mishawaka’s Riverwalk are among the places that draw visitors year-round.

Youth sports are also a significant driver of tourism. Hockey, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, baton twirling and other sports dot the events calendar.

VSBM’s promotion of the area helps drive significant economic impact. Nearly 5 million people visit St. Joseph County a year while spending $621.9 million. Nearly 8,000 people are employed through tourism around the county.
