Our Company History

Valley Tool and Manufacturing LLC has a pedigree of performance going back decades. The product of a merger between Maurer Metalcraft and Valley Tool. Valley Tool and Manufacturing LLC offers a wide breadth of capabilities ranging from sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding and assembly work. Founded in 1948 by Fritz C. Maurer, Maurer Aircraft; later renamed Maurer Metalcraft, began as a decorative metal spinning company. Its unique craftsmanship and close proximity to Sikorsky Helicopters headquarters led to a relationship in the development of prototype parts for new production helicopters and over the years has grown into a robust sheet metal fabrication operation. We are currently a subsidiary of Harlow Aerospace LLC. As a result, we are one of 3 businesses operating under the Harlow Aerospace LLC umbrella with locations in Connecticut, Kansas and California. This situation has allowed Valley Tool and Manufacturing LLC to be part of a company with 80 + million sales, excellent credit and available capital as we look towards the future.
