Up Learn

Our education system is broken. Schools sacrifice real education for exam preparation, while teachers are left overworked and students disappointed with their results. At Up Learn we use AI and neuroscience to ensure every student can achieve an A*, regardless of their background. Our mission is to help every student fulfill their potential. Last year, 95% of the students who completed our pilot in AS Level Economics achieved an A grade, with some starting from grades as low as Ds and Es. Since then, over 18,000 students have signed up. Up Learn takes care of exam curriculum learning, so that teachers can go beyond “teaching to the spec” and instead use the classroom to bring their subjects to life. ~~~~~~~ We designed Up Learn using research from educational neuroscience on how students actually learn most effectively. Students choose their subject and exam board, and are provided with everything they need to get an A*: interactive videos, quizzes, definitions and practice exam questions. As they work through the course, our system uses artificial intelligence to identify their weakest areas and focus their efforts, until they reach 90-100% and master all the material. We work with a world-class team of teachers, tutors, subject experts and neuroscience researchers to create exceptional learning content, which is delivered through this adaptive learning platform. We are a social enterprise and believe in equal opportunities: for every student who pays for Up Learn, we give a course free to a student who can't.
