THE MISSION OF TOUCHSTONE Touchstone is a non-profit organization that is committed to empowering individuals to form values and choose behaviors that will serve them and the community throughout their lives. WE PROVIDE… Character education for at-risk high school students, using a small group counseling format; Biblically-based counseling for individuals and couples, and we offer small groups for individuals dealing with special issues; Seminars that cover a wide range of subjects from basic Bible topics to teen and family issues to song-writing and music; Music for worship and group singing, as a tool for illustration of Biblical truth, and as a form of self-expressive art and entertainment from a Christian world view. WE BELIEVE… God has given us a passion to make disciples and to help them grow to Christian maturity; God has given us specific abilities in areas of ministry having to do with youth work, counseling, music and speaking; God has called us to use the resources he has provided to carry out His work on earth to individuals and groups in and outside the church; The Gospel of Jesus Christ as it is set forth in the Bible and in the basic tenets of Christianity expressed in the Apostle’s Creed and the Nicene Creed.
