The Dream Job Podcast

This podcast is rooted in a crisis that has weighed heavy on our minds as we’ve gotten further into our 30s and further into our careers. (“Our” = Kent and Onnie, the hosts of the aforementioned podcast.) The realization is this: most of us will spend most of our adult lives at work, and most of us are either underwhelmed or actively unhappy with what we do for a living. So we decided to tackle this generation-crushing trend in the most Millennial way possible: with a podcast. Because what problem has the world ever faced that couldn’t be solved by two college-educated white dudes talking into microphones? Enter The Dream Job. It’s partly an excuse for the two of us to hangout and volley our latest complaints, rants, and revelations about our own careers. And it’s partly a chance for us to host frank conversations with people who - against all odds - have landed jobs that they legitimately love. We want to know what that’s like. How they got there. If it’s as dreamy as it sounds. And what lessons, if any, the rest of us can learn from the choices they’ve made.
