Tahltan Central Government

The purpose of TCG is to advance the collective and inherent rights and title interests of the Tahltan people. The Tahltan territory is 93,500 square kilometres in size. The mandate of the Government is to represent and advance the collective and inherent rights and title interests of the Tahltan Nation by: (a) Defining and protecting Tahltan inherent rights and title; (b) Protecting the ecosystems and natural resources of Tahltan territory through the pursuit of sustainable economic development; and (c) Strengthening the social, cultural and economic wellness of the Tahltan people.
