The Swamp characters are licensed to a clothing company, Akashi Hifuku Kogyo Co in Japan who manufacture upmarket sport and casual wear. Their main focus is golf clothing. Ding Duck is the main character used in this license. Their territory also includes South Korea.
Eight cartoon books have been self published with an Ebook in the creative process at present. Martin Leeuwis Publications published the latest Ding Duck, " I Want to Fly!" in Europe, United States and Australia in November 2012. The book is available through www.swamp.com.au
The Swamp characters have been used to endorse environmental and water quality issues in Australia. The most popular character, Ding Duck has also been used to endorse air safety in the Australian Civil and Defense Forces.
Diesel Dog is another popular character created some 27 years ago for Truckin’ Life Magazine. After a long sabbatical, Diesel made a come-back in 2011 to the magazine and he has retained his popularity.
