Overview:Surrey Translation Bureau (STB) is an award-winning independent translation agency with over 30 years’ experience and a diverse range of clients across most verticals, including manufacturing, legal, medical and scientific sectors. We provide our clients with high-quality, specialised translations into most world languages.
Acting as an extension of their own team, we translate a wide range of source material across most formats, including web content, training material, product packaging and user manuals.
In-house, we have a multi-lingual, experienced and award-winning Project Management team and a small, but experienced team of translators and reviewers.
For each client we create a dedicated Project Management and translator team, who will support future projects, providing a sole point of contact within STB, someone who is aware of all previous and upcoming projects and client specific requirements, so that our clients know that we are looking after their translation projects consistently from beginning to end, time after time.
All our Project Managers are qualified professional linguists, with a Master’s level qualification in translation, and certified users of SDL Trados Studio translation software.
Aside from our in-house staff, we have a extensive network of freelance translators, all of whom are subject to our rigorous onboarding process. This not only takes into account their linguistic skills, but also their knowledge of their specialist field. Translators are only added to our network if they successfully meet our standards.
STB is independently certificated to European standard ISO17100:2015, which sets out the requirements for the provision of quality services by translation service providers. We also hold BS EN ISO 9001:2015 certification for customer satisfaction and quality management.
All translation projects undergo thorough quality control procedures prior to delivery, using leading quality assurance software where applicable.
