Overview: StackSearch has unveiled two search-as-a-service products. The first is a foundational technology called qbox.io. Qbox is a massively auto-scaled, highly available cluster of ElasticSearch servers on the Rackspace Cloud. Instead of learning about or worrying about installing, maintaining, patching, monitoring, scaling, and backing up ElasticSearch, just buy a managed index and start developing your search app. Our second product is built on top of Qbox, and it helps ecommerce merchants reduce site abandonment, and increase conversions by providing best-practice search functionality that is, above all, fast. With features such as auto-complete/auto-suggest, multi-select faceting, stemming, synonyms, "Did You Mean?", and more, merchants can implement best-practice search with a few lines of javascript.
