About Southern California Moot Court
Founded in late 2019, Southern California Moot Court (SCMC) is USC's undergraduate moot court team. As a member of the American Moot Court Association (AMCA), our members travel across the country to compete against other undergraduate moot court programs in appellate advocacy simulations. In its first two seasons, SCMC secured back-to-back national third place finishes — beating out over 500 teams each time. SCMC prides itself in improving the oral and written advocacy abilities of its members — teaching them to think, reason, and argue like lawyers long before law school and legal practice.
