Overview:In July 2014, Queensland Motorways was sold to a consortium of investors including Transurban, Australian Super and Tawreed Investments. Transurban (a top 20 ASX listed company), has assumed responsibility for the operations of the Queensland Motorways business on behalf of the consortium.
In January 2015 the Queensland Motorways corporate brand was permanently transitioned to Transurban Queensland, to reflect the integration of its operations with the wider Transurban Group. The go via and go via network brands remain as the primary toll payment and collective road network brands in south-east Queensland.
We are a key provider in south-east Queensland’s transport infrastructure sector. We operate and maintain the go via network of tolled bridges, tunnels and motorways which includes:
• Gateway Motorway and Sir Leo Hielscher Bridges
• Logan Motorway
• Clem7
• Go Between Bridge
• Legacy Way (due to open in 2015)
The go via network is strategically positioned as an essential transport route for business and local communities, providing an efficient and safe transport connection for more than 102 million trips per year.
