Overview:Paul Smith is a talented strategist and consultant with extensive experience in both B2B and direct to consumer sales, marketing and message development in a diverse array of industries including healthcare, technology, media and nonprofits.
He has a strong external focus and significant expertise building high-level strategic relationships with a wide range of constituencies, influencers and stakeholders including C-suite executives, key customer accounts, government officials and members of the media.
A certified trainer and presenter and a skilled copywriter, Paul has worked on successful national sales campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and planned and directed award-winning public relations projects and events.
With 20 years of experience, Paul’s entire career has focused on sales, marketing, PR and media. He started out as what he calls an “independent contractor with my own media distribution business,” better known as a paperboy. When he grew up he held director level marketing positions for healthcare providers, was the publisher of a direct mail advertising magazine and worked as a media account executive for the largest cable television company in the country.
Over the years, Paul has held a number of roles and led a number of teams, but perhaps the one that comes most naturally is that of “cheerleader.” Just being around Paul’s positive attitude and enthusiasm makes you see how interconnected we all are and believe in the unlimited power of human potential.
