EPIC, or the Entrepreneurial and Professional Innovation Community, is a student-led organization at Northwestern University that aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students. We offer a range of services including mentorship programs, networking events, workshops, and competitions like the NU Venture Challenge and Project Pitch. Our goal is to empower students to develop their entrepreneurial ideas and connect with resources that can help them succeed.
Getting involved with EPIC is easy! You can join our community by attending our events, participating in workshops, or signing up for mentorship programs. We also encourage students from all disciplines to join our organization, whether you have a business idea or simply want to learn more about entrepreneurship. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for upcoming events and opportunities to engage.
The NU Venture Challenge is a prestigious competition that allows students to pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to win funding and resources to launch their ventures. To participate, students must form a team, develop a business concept, and submit an application by the specified deadline. The competition typically includes several rounds, culminating in a final pitch event where teams present their ideas to investors and industry experts.
The Project Pitch event is designed for students to showcase innovative ideas, whether they are business concepts, social enterprises, or creative projects. We encourage participants to present projects that demonstrate originality, feasibility, and potential impact. Whether you are working on a tech startup, a community initiative, or a research project, as long as it aligns with the entrepreneurial spirit, we welcome your pitch!
EPIC's resources and programs are available to all Northwestern University students, regardless of their major or level of experience in entrepreneurship. Whether you are a seasoned entrepreneur or just starting to explore your interests, our community provides valuable support, mentorship, and networking opportunities. We believe that everyone has the potential to innovate and contribute to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
EPIC supports a diverse range of industries, reflecting the varied interests and talents of Northwestern students. Our focus spans technology, healthcare, social impact, finance, and more. We aim to cultivate an inclusive environment where students can explore different sectors, collaborate across disciplines, and develop solutions that address real-world challenges. No matter your industry of interest, EPIC is here to help you succeed.
