The Newton County IDA is a public-private partnership funded by the Newton County to act as the single point of contact for economic development projects within the region. NCIDA is responsible for recruiting new business and industry; working with existing business and industry on expansions and retention; developing a workforce that is "second to none" in the nation; the development of a Northeast Georgia Regional Retail Hub; and assisting our partners with maintaining the "quality of life" we all enjoy in Newton County Georgia.
