About National Rural Health Alliance

The National Rural Health Alliance is the peak advocacy body for rural, regional and remote health in Australia. We have 45 Members, which are national organisations representing health professionals, service providers, educators, students, and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health sector. See list of Members at: http://www.ruralhealth.org.au/about/memberbodies. The Alliance also has a strong Friends network of groups and individuals involved in rural health.

The Alliance identifies key issues affecting rural health, develops submissions and provides policy advice to governments. We support rural health research and professional development through the peer-reviewed Australian Journal of Rural Health and our flagship conference and scientific symposium.
